Mission and outreach

St. Andrew’s has many Mission and Outreach projects, we try to support local projects and organizations as much as possible through funding and any other support we may give. Some of the organizations we support are:

"Church World Service works with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world." We have supported CWS for over 15 years through the Blankets and Kit programs.

United Thank Offering The United Thank Offering is a program of The Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole Church, founded by and administered by women since 1889. The United Thank Offering Committee is a spiritual and financial partner in the mission work of The Episcopal Church, through every person in every pew.

Meals on Wheels which are offered by The Franklin County Home Care Corporation long and short term homebound elders aged 60 and over who are unable to prepare nutritional meals for themselves.

The Brick House whose mission is to support individual, family and community well being through collaboration on economic development, youth development, leadership development and education.

NELCWIT which has been serving Franklin County and the North Quabbin region of western Massachusetts, since 1976 by offering counseling, safe homes, advocacy, and education to women and children who have survived domestic violence or sexual abuse, and prevention education for area schools, professionals, and other groups.

Warm the Children which is an organization dedicated to ensuring that all children have a warm winter coat.

Recently we have begun supporting Village Health Works. According to their website “Village Health Works (VHW), is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in the U.S., that was founded by Deogratias Niyizonkiza, an American citizen born in Burundi, East Africa.”
